If we were human, why wouldn't Allison recognize that? Allison herself is a humanoid creature. Why can Allison and Tom recognize every other creature in the studio, but Henry? This ties in with the assumption that we've been human the whole time. ![]() Henry says they have to wade though, but Allison says she and Tom aren't like him and can't go. Allison mentions that there's no way to make a boat or to cross without getting in the ink. Both Alice and Allison express fear of returning to the ink puddles. Alice Angel (Evil Alice) mentions being in a puddle before assuming her disfigured form. Notice though that when you return there's a splash of ink around you as if you've come out of a puddle of ink. A clear, common representation of dying, you have to walk forward toward the light to return to last check point in the game. I found it odd that when you die, you're transported into a tunnel made of ink with a light at the end. What if that wasn't the case and Henry has been claimed by the Ink? It would explain the death screen. 1, we've kind of just assumed we were human and that we're interacting with this cartoon world with minimal consequence. However, I believe this is meant specifically for Henry. 5, Allison mentions that you can't touch the ink for long, otherwise it will "claim you." This seems a bit repetitive considering that through this whole game we've seen a variety of Ink Creatures. The experiment ultimately failed and Joey had to nurse Henry back to health, so that he could go back to the studio once again (and again) and destroy the first Bendy and free everyone from, essentially, their curse. I purpose that Henry Stein was Joey Drew's final experiment to create the perfect, living version of his beloved Bendy. Yes, previous notions that were made were confirmed (like humans being needed to stabilize the characters, and Sammy not actually being dead), but even more questions have been brought forward. ![]() This chapter ended way to quickly and didn't seem to make much sense. ![]() I went ahead and watched Jacksepticeye play Chapter 5 of Bendy and the Ink Machine after the GTLive play through, so I have to talk about the ending.
